16 Pretty Pink and Delicious Valentine’s Day Desserts
There may be no more sweet-flavored holiday than Valentine’s Day. From a simple box of chocolates (Thank you, Forrest Gump!) to cookies, cakes and cupcakes, everyone loves a bite of something sweet. One of my most fun roundups has been collecting 16 pretty pink and delicious Valentine’s Day Desserts.
Why pink desserts you ask? First, because I love anything pink and second, pink is the perfect color for a Valentine’s Day dessert.
Next week, I’m hosting a girlfriend Valentine’s Day dinner. I’m preparing the salad, the main course, and the dessert.
I want a special dessert for this event. I have a favorite dessert in mind, but I wanted more options. So, I started searching online. For this round-up, in the beginning, I wanted 14 pink desserts – guess why – but I couldn’t stop there. I added two extras for your enjoyment.

Delicious Valentine’s Day Desserts: 16 Sweets to Love
As I looked for special Valentine’s Day desserts, I included cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and other delectable sweet treats.
I wanted recipes that were fairly easy, used readily available ingredients, basic baking tools, and clear instructions. Of course, they had to be pretty and wet your taste buds.
You’ll find traditional Valentine’s Day flavors like strawberry, raspberry, and chocolate used in creative new ways.
If they were heart-shaped or had attractive garnishes, like fresh fruit ad sprinkles, decorative frostings using a piping bag and tips, even better.
You don’t have to be an expert baker to make any of these desserts. You are not in a baking competition on TV. You are making a dessert for family or friends who love you and you love back. This is about a celebration of love for a special occasion.
I’m certainly not an expert cake decorator – I focused on the cooking, not the pastry route, in culinary school. The point is to enjoy yourself, be creative and have fun.

Enjoy them all.
