The Easter holiday is behind us, but spring is blooming like crazy. It’s refreshing and invigorating. It makes us want to create. So I’ve gathered 13 fun spring craft projects to try now.

With warm weather finally here, it’s the perfect time to get creative and dive into some easy spring crafts.

Whether you’re looking for fun activities to keep the kids entertained or simply want to spruce up your space with some fresh decor, I’ve got you covered with the best spring craft ideas around.

The warmer weather of spring is all about new beginnings and what better way to celebrate than by getting crafty? Now is a great time to find different ways to add style to our homes with a collection of great project possibilities.

From simple materials found around the house to creative ways to bring the beauty of the season indoors, there’s no shortage of inspiration when it comes to crafting for spring.

To gather some fresh ideas, I did a little search around Pinterest, looking for cute crafts that will add a fun and fresh vibe to your home.

I specifically eliminated Easter crafts (I love bunnies and eggs as much as anyone.) because I wanted to focus on finding delightful spring crafts that would welcome spring (and maybe summer).

I wanted simple spring crafts that would last over time. Ideas that would be fresh for years to come.

These easy crafts that are perfect for embracing the spirit of the season. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, you’ll find something here to spark your creativity and keep you busy all season long.

So grab your supplies and pick your project. By the end of this post, you’ll have a collection of fun spring activities. You’ll be proud to show off your handiwork.

Fun Spring Craft Materials

As I scrolled through Pinterest for cute spring crafts ideas, I paid attention to the supplies used.

Like most of us, I want simple, easily found materials to use in DIY projects. It’s fun to find a new use for a supply you have left from earlier projects (like pom poms, fabric scraps, or scrapbook paper) or a new material you’ve never used before, such as air-dry clay or alcohol ink.

Here’s a list of common supplies that you might need for your spring craft projects. I bet my bottom dollar that you have many of these in your craft stash.

  1. Scrapbook Paper: Perfect for creating colorful spring decorations and crafts, such as flower crafts.
  2. Scissors: A must-have for cutting paper, fabric, and other materials.
  3. Glue, Glue Sticks or Fabric Glue: Essential for assembling your crafts and securing decorations.
  4. Markers, Crayons, or Colored Pencils: Great for adding details and personal touches to your creations.
  5. Paint and Brushes: Ideal for painting eggshells (yes!), rocks, or creating spring-themed art.
  6. Craft Foam: Excellent for making flowers, animals, or other spring-inspired shapes.
  7. Pipe Cleaners: Versatile for creating flowers, stems, or adding texture to crafts.
  8. Pom Poms: Perfect for adding a fun, colorful, and playful touch to any spring craft project.
  9. Ribbon and Yarn: If you have a length of ribbon in your stash, it’s perfect for adding embellishments and hanging your finished crafts.
  10. Buttons, Beads, and Sequins: Great for adding sparkle and dimension to your projects.
  11. Tissue Paper: Ideal for making tissue paper flowers or adding colorful accents.
  12. Empty Toilet Paper Rolls: Surprisingly useful for creating a variety of spring-themed crafts.
  13. Natural Materials: Get creative with items like twigs, leaves, flowers, and pinecones for a rustic touch.
  14. Empty Egg Cartons: Perfect for crafting or holding your creations during “production”.
  15. Fabric Scraps: Use leftover fabric to make spring-themed banners, bunting, or wreaths.

Remember, the beauty of spring crafts lies in their simplicity and versatility, so feel free to mix and match materials to suit your preferences and get creative!

A new season is the perfect time to try a great craft idea that will perk up any room in your home.

Welcome to this world of fun spring crafts. Because today is the 13th and my birthday and my grandson’s birthdays are both on the 13th (June and July), I limited these fun spring craft ideas to 13.
