Merry Christmas to All and Peace on Earth

Merry Christmas. I usually don’t write on Sunday and I’ve never send out a message on Christmas, but this year I just felt the urge to say Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with wonder and joy, love and laughter. May you spend it with those you love. Remember, the angels said to the shepherds: “Do not be afraid.” Even in their world, fear, tension, uncertainty, strife and upheaval existed as it does in our world today.  Just as the shepherds did, we can overcome our fears, listen to the angels and go forth with anticipation and hope. Let’s follow the two greatest commandments: “to love the Lord with all your heart and soul and mind” and “to love your neighbor as yourself.” Here is my wish for you: Merry Christmas to All and Peace on Earth.
