You do not need a big covered porch to create a warm fall welcome. As I mentioned, we do not have a true front porch, just a small entry by the front door, and I still dress it up every autumn. The trick with a small space is to think vertical and keep it simple.
Here’s one way that I decorated our front porch area.
NOTE: Keep in mind that how you decorate any outdoor area, a front porch or a backyard patio, depends on whether it is exposed to the elements or covered. Use your best judgment on what items will be secure and which ones are best displayed inside.
