Tuesday Turn About Link Party 54
Before I share my blogger tip for the week, here is last week’s TTA 53 if you would like to visit and PIN more great summer ideas.
Carol’s Blogger Tip of the Week
What is your biggest traffic driver? Mine is Pinterest and then Google. I love Pinterest (don’t you?) and I love how much it has helped my blog grow. One of the biggest contributors to my Pinterest growth is Tailwind. Julie has mentioned Tailwind a time or two also.
There are so many reasons that Tailwind is an indispensable tool for bloggers. Today I want to mention a feature that I use almost every day when I schedule my pins. It’s called Interval. If you don’t know, Pinterest frowns on the same pin being pinned to multiple boards all at once. Your followers probably don’t like seeing your pin fill their Pinterest feed all at once either. You want to spread that pin out.
Remembering to schedule a pin manually to go out over several days or weeks would be a nightmare to keep up with. Tailwind’s Interval scheduling feature creates a consistent flow of content. It allows you to schedule your content on multiple boards over days, weeks, or months. With Interval, you can spread the pin out as much or as little as you want.
First, you tell it which boards to pin to. (All your boards are listed right in your Tailwind dashboard.) Second, you use sliders to adjust the time in days and hours when to pin to those boards.
The Interval feature can take a ton of busywork out of your Pinning process and save you so much time to spend on other blogging tasks. I really, really encourage you to try Tailwind for 30 days free. It will pay off bigtime. Just so you know upfront, after your free trial period, Tailwind is $9.99 per month if you pay annually or $15 paid monthly. If you PIN 20-30 posts every day to multiple boards, the cost of Tailwind for a year is pennies a day. My time and efficiency are easily worth that.
Here is my Tailwind affiliate link ~ shameless plug ~ but I believe in the power of Tailwind and I want you to try it too. It’s just like me telling you about the best nail polish or face cream. Girlfriends share good stuff. Let me know if you have any questions.
Here’s what your hostesses have been busy creating lately.

LET’S GET STARTED LINKING UP!!
Thank you for the feature, Carol and the pin and the Tailwind interval tip. I really only used it once and wasn’t sure it was working for me. I have the basic tailwind and only get 30 pins a month. Do you do basic or the next level(s) up?
Rachelle, Pinterest is a long~term game and Tailwind is one way to help you. I schedule 30+ pins a day and that has helped my growth. I also love being able to Pin to multiple boards in a few clicks.
Thanks so much for hosting each week!! Stay safe, healthy, happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
