Tuesday Turn About Link Party 49
Hello friends and welcome to Tuesday Turn About Link Party 49. How is your May going? Ours has been a mix of beautiful cool sunshiny days with some really hot temps thrown in so we don’t get spoiled. I think last week was one of our biggest link parties (thank goodness we don’t have to social distance here.) and thank you for sharing your awesome talents with all our party attendees. Did you do a bunch of Pinning? As we are almost into summer, at least in my part of the world, my thoughts turn to flip flops, white jeans, and eating outdoors (which we did twice last weekend). Corn on the cob, fried okra, and summer tomatoes are also high on my summer list. What do you think of when you think of summer? I have a blogger tip for you today before we get on to the link party.
Carol’s Blogger Tip
This tip is about photography and I learned it from my friend Rachel Paxton at Haven last year and also when I took her Photography Course last fall. It’s an amazing course by the way. Shoot straight: that means shooting horizontal or vertical but not diagonally. Shooting straight at your subject makes for clearer, sharper images. I’ve been using this advice for several months and I do think it makes a difference in the quality of your images. And, as we all know, images are so important. So let’s get on with the party. Here is TTA 48 if you would like to take a look back.

Tuesday Turn About Link Party 49 Features
Here are my Features of the Week. Be sure to hop over and see what Julie and Michelle have chosen. Please PIN them to your own boards. Carol of Art and Sand has the most amazing cottage and garden. Her colorful vintage accessories are so pretty and she knows how to bring out the best in found and reused items, like this old bicycle.
If you like open shelving or you want to add open shelving to your kitchen, then this tutorial from Tiffany from A Nod to Navy would be a good read for you. Tiffany takes you through the pros and cons of open shelving.
I was so enamored of the tips for styling your bookcases from Coco at The Crowned Goat, I didn’t realize I had 2 shelving features. These 6 tips for styling bookcases are spot on.
