Can you believe we are halfway through December? I can’t. Christmas is 10 days away. We celebrated my younger daughter’s birthday last week so I know for sure Christmas is near. And we are kicking off Happiness is Homemade Link Party 301.
If you have a December baby in your family, then you know the questions: “Do you celebrate her birthday in December?” Yes, we always did. “Any special memories?” Yes, first, she came home from the hospital in a Christmas stocking. Second, carrying a 15~day~old baby into Christmas Eve services. She slept through the whole service. Silent Night and Peace on Earth!
Our home is finally, completely decorated for the holidays and we hosted 2 parties this week. The house sparkled and twinkled. The food was delicious. The Christmas music was sublime. The cocktails and wine were chilled and toasted. Our guests laughed and told stories and hugged and wished each other Merry Christmas. It was a jolly time. Sweet Shark and I loved every minute of it.
What else was happening around Bluesky at Home this past week?
I shared How to Make the Cutest Pinecone Place Card Holders, which I used at my tennis team dinner on Thursday. Everyone loved them.
Then I shared an annual treat: How to Make Marshmallow Treats. These are the cutest sweets for a Christmas party.
And finally, I showed
off our Bright Red and Merry Christmas Master Bedroom. We loving this new color in our bedroom for the holidays.
If you have just a minute, I hope that you will PIN them for your own use.
Katie is again our hostess and she has selected an “everything is Christmas” group of features. As we head into the final stretch before Christmas Day, I hope that you are enjoying the holiday season.
